"When I first started working with Amy, she took the time to really listen to what I needed. I had a bad habit of doing way too much and getting hurt and stopping, or I would go for awhile and get bored. She started me off slow and took the time to really ease me into exercising and made it part of my daily routine. After some time, we needed to mix things up, so she encouraged me to start attending classes. I was a little hesitant because I had never attended a group fitness class before. She took the time to show me some of the moves in the Les Mills classes before I went, to help ease me into it. I started with BodyPump and went from there. I have become hooked on just about every class I’ve been to, and I love being at the gym. We also worked together to improve my running ability and to develop a weight training regimen for me. Once I formed a routine and gained confidence in what I was doing, she pushed me to work harder and achieve even more.."

"More Energy, Self-Esteem and Drive thanks to the efforts of April and Five Points I never thought it would be possible to lose the weight gained after having two children, and found that it was difficult to have the strength and willpower to do the things that I knew I needed to do. Some of the things that I tried were cutting back on food, buying workout tapes, which I attempted to do on my own. Nothing seemed to work. I found that I was hungry all of the time and would always come up with a reason, why not to work out at home. So, I joined Five Points, which was the first step in the right direction to reach my goal to get in better shape. Even though I joined Five Points, I still talked myself out of going to exercise and needed someone to hold me accountable. April provided the encouragement and support that I needed to get on track with my exercise. She held me accountable and motivated me to not only reach my full potential with our one-on-one sessions, but gave me realistic goals to obtain throughout the rest of each week. Another factor in helping me to stay on track has been the fact that Five Points provides a day care service, which as a single parent, has truly been a valuable resource. My children really enjoy the time spent in the daycare and I can adhere to my schedule with a peace of mind that my children are being cared for by a good staff. In four months, I have lost 25 pounds, feel great and have more energy, self-esteem, and drive than ever before. As an added bonus, since working out I no longer suffer from my twice a month migraine attacks. I will be turning 40 this year, and will be in the best shape of my whole life!!
