New Water Aerobics Class

Starting June 9, 2008

Monday & Wednesday @ 5:00 p.m.

Lifeguards Needed

All exercise classes are included with a membership or the 10 day punch card!

Monday through Friday 5 a.m. - 10 p.m.

Saturday and Sundays 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.

 

 

 

Deep water Competition pool

This program will teach you how to use the water as a powerful gym, where you'll simulate running, biking, kick-boxing, cross-country skiing and more. A truly non-impact workout that will burn calories, tone & strengthen all of your muscles. The hopping, jumping and running movements so prevalent in most aqua aerobic classes are replaced by muscle specific, precise movements performed through a full range of motion. Improve your strength and flexibility, posture and cardiovascular fitness without the splash or the rebound. Great for men & women!

  • Tuesday and Thursday-9:00am

Fun and fit Leisure pool

Strengthen define and firm your muscles with this effective workout. You’ll learn how to maximize the water’s resistance and challenge each muscle group. Beginning with some very effective abdominal toning, you’ll progress through exercises to firm the arms. improve posture, and strengthen and tone the hips and thighs.

Aqua Fit Competition Pool

Water Works is designed to tone and firm muscles, burn fat and provide an awesome aerobic conditioning program. In water all of these goals can be accomplished in the same workout. Waters provides resistance to tone, strengthen and define the muscles and the large movements of the legs and arms provide the aerobic workout to burn fat and strengthen the cardiovascular system. Enjoy and invigoration workout in the waters buoyant, nearly gravity free, exercise environment.

Aqua Arthritis Leisure pool

The perfect combination of gentle, yet effective aerobic exercises, muscle toning, strengthening, stretching, and posture improving exercises make this the perfect workout for persons over 50. Also a great choice for persons with Arthritis, Fibromialgia, recovering from an injury, or pregnant. Since water supports your joints, it makes it easier to move freely, improving your range of motion. At the same time, water offers at least 12 times more resistance than air, strengthening your muscles. The pressure water exerts on your legs also can aid circulation, something like wearing support hose. In addition, the soothing sensation of warm water is a great stress reliever. You may be able to do things in the water you can't on land.
