1. What classes can I take at Five Points Washington?

We have over 80 fitness classes each week using the Les Mills programs ranging from yoga and tai chi to a variety of aerobic and body strengthening workouts. We have 35 classes every week in the pools from water aerobics to classes designed for those with arthritis and others who just want to relax in the warm water pool.

2. Is there a fee for each class?

All classes are included with a membership. A member can come to as many classes as they wish. We have some members who regularly attend multiple classes every day.

3. Are most of those using the fitness facility Washington residents?

About ¾’s of our members are from the 61571 zip code and the remaining ¼ come from the surrounding areas.

4. Do I have to become a member to use the fitness equipment, walking track or pools?

There are “punch” passes available for those who want to use the fitness areas on a limited basis.

5. Is there more than “fitness” at Five Points Washington?

Absolutely! You can visit the Washington District Library and use a computer, read a book, or participate in one of their programs. You can attend WCHS plays and musical productions or one of a variety of commercial entertainment acts in the theater. You can join friends at banquet center dinners or events sponsored by a host of different organizations or rent the facility for your own business meeting or special wedding or anniversary celebration. You can host your child’s birthday party at Five Points Washington for a very reasonable fee. You can join in activities in the Washington Senior Center from card games to WII bowling to lunches and guest speakers.

6. Do you have to be a member to participate in the Senior Center programs?

The Senior Center activities are open to the public…no membership is required.

7. What are some of the new things at Five Points Washington?

  • Kids’ programming : Added “Kids Club Plus”
  •  New Member Bi-monthly Newsletters.
  • Theater/banquet center entertainment: completed survey of “interests” and are now developing events, series, and partnerships around the results of those inputs.
