Press Release August 6, 2007 Attention all those with singing talent: The Washington Area Community Center board is pleased to announce that the Peoria Symphony will be performing October 14 as part of the grand opening events at Five Points Washington. The Symphony’s music director, Mr. David Commanday, has suggested that the Symphony perform a portion of the concert jointly with local choral talent. Mr. Commanday, along with WCHS music teachers Mr. Jim Tallman and Ms. Lara Reem has selected appropriate literature for this festive concert. Please provide your name, e-mail address, telephone contact (daytime), and a brief note regarding your experience and voice part.
