Events Venue Manager 

Job summary

As an essential member of the leadership team, the Events Venue & Program Manager will be responsible for actively soliciting new business and entertainment offerings as well as ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction with special events from first contact through the entirety of event for the Performing Arts Theater and Event Center of Five Points Washington.

Summary of essential job functions

Under the supervision of the General Manger, the Events Venue & Program Manager will be responsible for:

  • – Actively soliciting new and renewal business opportunities by conducting effective sales calls, outside sales call presentations, and walk-through with clients.
  • – Seeking new contacts and maintaining working relationships with all civic and industry organizations, corporate promotional contacts, and event and booking representatives.
  • – Establishing and maintaining relationships with industry influencers and key community and strategic partners.
  • – Providing leadership, innovation, direction and support the event venue and team.
  • – Working to optimize all venue spaces for Special Event opportunities and remaining current with national and local industry trends.
  • – Handling all aspects of special events including preparation, planning, and execution day of event.
  • – Coordinating and assisting in all aspects of operational set-up and break down of events.
  • – Training and overseeing team members assisting with an event to ensure the highest service standards are consistently being met.
  • – Proactively addressing details and anticipating needs for events to ensure success and prevent issues.
  • – Developing and maintaining an Ambassador group that will help in the promotion of Live @ Five Points events.
  • – Event contract management.
  • – Performing all other duties as assigned.

Minimum requirements

Minimum qualifications include:  a 4 year degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality, Event Management or related field; 5-years’ experience in like field; supervisory experience; budgeting experience; passionate about customer service; professional communication skills, highly organized with attention to detail; knowledge of food and beverage standards with an understanding of sequence of service.  Although a degree is preferred, consideration will be given to candidates with extensive experience in a like position with similar duties and responsibilities.

Male Part-time Custodian

Male part-time custodian needed for evening hours from 5-11pm Monday and Tuesday evenings and possible weekends when needed. Must be 18 years of age and previous custodial experience required.

Event Bartender
We are currently seeking experienced bartenders to help with special events at Five Points.  The position requires weekend and evening hours. You must be able to stand for a long period of time and have great customer service skills.  You also need to know how to mix drinks and work with the public.

You must 21 years and older to apply for this position.
Prior experience preferred.

Personal Trainer


  • Four-year Exercise Science or related degree preferred
  • Certification through a reputable training certification company
  • Willing to work a minimum of 20 hours per week

Female Custodian

Female custodian needed for morning hours during the week and possible weekends. Must be 18 years of age and previous custodial experience required.

Competitive wages and free fitness membership for employees that work 10+ hours per week. This position will total 25 hours a week.

Shift Leader 

Must be available to work weekdays on Monday & Thursday 5-10:15pm and Saturday evening from 2-7:15pm

Flexible schedule
High School diploma
Previous supervisor experience (preferred but not required)

Complete 10 or more hours in a week for a free membership

Special Events Set Up & Tear Down Personnel

Unique position that provides flexible schedule.  Set up in our event center at Five Points entails: loading in and setting banquet tables and chairs, dance floor, and any other items requested. Set-Up is done in the day or evening hours prior to event day.
Tear- Down is in the late evening after event on weekends or morning depending on the day.
